Job Description US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED#LI-LO1 As a Senior
Contracts Administrator in the Tactical Solutions (TS) contracts
department, reporting to a Business Unit Manager, Contracts, you
will assume a hands-on role as an individual contributor managing
contracts. Work covers the full spectrum of contract life-cycle
responsibilities, from new business to closeout.The Finance
Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business
acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing
actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to
drive sustainable business growth.What You'll Do:
- Provide contract negotiation and administration on a variety of
programs encompassing all phases of the contract life cycle
(pre-proposal through contract close out).
- Collaborate with other employees in the department,
cross-functionally and with program personnel, and for establishing
effective relationships with key customers.
- Review contracts and related documents to assess risk to the
company and recommend mitigation approaches and ensure compliance
with various federal regulations and company policy.
- Work with program and customer management to determine and meet
program requirements.
- Review and interpret contracts, modifications and change
orders; prepare contract review records and obtain necessary
management approvals.
- Recommend and implement negotiation strategies and
techniques.
- May participate in or lead contract-negotiating team.
- Participate in proposals and change proposals and their
negotiations.
- May prepare presentations for program and customer management
review.
- May participate in the development of contract systems and
procedures.
- Develop and provide required information to Supply Chain and
Program Management organizations.
- Prepare and maintain required contract administration
documentation in accordance with company procedures and government
regulations.
- May act as official company liaison for and resolve contract
matters with customer management.
- May coordinate the work of and assist in the training of other
contract administrators.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within
the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic
Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with
others in order to maintain a positive and productive work
environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.On-Site Work Environment:
This position requires regular in-person engagement by working
on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the
primary work location. Travel and local commute between company
campuses and other possible non-company locations may be
required.Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory,
cleanroom, or production floor.#IJSRequired Education, Experience,
& Skills
- BS/BA in a related field plus 8 or more years related
experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may
substitute for two years of experience. Related technical
experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be
from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an
agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department
of Education.
- Government and Commercial (domestic and international
desirable) contracts experience.
- Expertise with the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation
Supplement (DFARs).
- Experienced with cost reimbursable, award fee and incentive fee
contracts.
- Experience with Firm Fixed Price contracts.
- Experience with Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs).
- Excellent communications skills, computer fluency, agile and
effective negotiator with clear explanations.
- Ability to work a variety of complex issues at one time.
- Experience in developing and implementing negotiation
strategies.
- A leader with excellent conflict resolution skills in a
changing environment.A security clearance or access with Polygraph
is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the
applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on
program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able
to maintain the applicable clearance/access.Preferred Education,
Experience, & Skills
- Business related Master's degree.
- A current, active Secret security clearance.
- CPCM certification.
- Experience with DOD and major Aerospace primes.Pay
InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $94500 - $127750Please note:
This range is based on our market pay structures. However,
individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors
including, but not limited to: business considerations, local
market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate
qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience. Employee
