Job Title: Sheet Metal / Round Duct Installation Technician
Location: Fort Collins, CO Department: Facilities – Semiconductor
Cleanroom Technologies Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 Shift: Monday –
Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (4x10 schedule) Job Summary: We are
seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our Facilities
team. This role focuses on installing semiconductor cleanroom
equipment, ducting, and exhaust systems. The ideal candidate has
hands-on experience in sheet metal, ducting, plumbing, and
construction, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to
work safely in a cleanroom environment. Key Responsibilities:
Install ducting and sheet metal systems, including coated and
non-coated stainless steel duct. Set up semiconductor equipment and
related systems in cleanroom environments. Collaborate with system
owners to design, layout, and install exhaust systems. Identify and
order required parts for exhaust systems, maintaining minimal
on-hand inventory. Work with general, VEX, and AEX exhaust systems
to ensure proper installation. Coordinate with team members and
contractors to meet project schedules and quality standards. Follow
cleanroom protocols and comply with industry regulations and
internal installation standards. Troubleshoot installation issues
and provide timely solutions. Maintain organized and safe work
areas. Create and complete work plans prior to all installations.
Qualifications & Experience: 6 years of hands-on experience in
plumbing, construction, high-purity piping, ducting, or sheet metal
work. Experience in semiconductor cleanrooms is a plus. Ability to
read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment
manuals. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to work
well in a team. Physically able to lift, bend, and stand for
extended periods. Relevant certifications in plumbing,
construction, or sheet metal are a plus. Education: High school
diploma or equivalent required. Technical certifications or
vocational training in electrical, plumbing, construction, or sheet
metal preferred. Additional Information: Competitive salary and
