Description of Job
PRIMARY DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge,
skills, and abilities.
Education:
Associate degree in Education, Psychology, Higher Education,
Educational Leadership, Communication, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of three years of successful experience at the collegiate
level in the area of program development, student activities,
residence life, student leadership, and/or student organization
advising.
Demonstrated experience and skill in the areas of program and event
planning and implementation; student advising.
Supervisory experience of student or volunteer staff / demonstrated
managerial skills.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Equipment Used: Computers, printers, phones, copy machines, fax
machines and scanners. Occasionally, there will be the need to use
and run entertainment tools like a popcorn machine, sno-cone
machine, cotton candy machine, or others as necessary.
This position requires work during evening hours and weekends when
necessary.
