Centura, you will assume responsibility and accountability for
facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the
healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the
physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient. You will
promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient
through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient
care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act, and
demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care,
organizational mission, and core values.--Preop and PACU staff are
cross trained to work both areas, and do Preop and PACU for both
Surgery and GI Lab. Preop # beds: 12 rooms PACU # beds: 19 bays
(split, 10 North PACU, 9 South PACU) Cases/day (average): about 20
surgeries, 10 GI, and 20 Pain Clinic / Day--Schedule: 36hrs/
week-variable per volume and unit needs----Scheduling
details:Managers make the schedule (no self-scheduling, no set
days, no set shifts)Cases/day (average): 8-12/day; add on patients
in the afternoon.--We have a variable schedule (no
self-scheduling). Call is in addition to regularly scheduled hours.
We schedule cases Monday-Friday 0730-1930. Nights, weekends, and
holidays are call shifts for urgent/emergent cases. We try to work
with staff but will meet the needs of the department to cover. ALL
shifts are subject to change depending on department volume. The
0600 shifts float the most. Our staff will do either PACU or GI
Call depending on skill set. We offer 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts

Pay Range:
$30.25 - $50.81 / hour
