Job Description:

Job Title: Speech Language PathologistSoar Autism Center is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).Job Summary:As a Speech Language Pathologist at Soar Autism Center, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD. You will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve the communication abilities of children aged 2-6, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques and instruments.You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive care. You will also actively involve families in the treatment process by providing them with education, resources, and support to foster their child's speech and language development.Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with ASD
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve the communication abilities of children aged 2-6
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Actively involve families in the treatment process
  • Regularly evaluate and document the progress of each childQualifications:
    • Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
    • License to practice speech pathology in the state of Colorado
    • Preference for SLPs with 3+ years of experience, but also open to new SLPs starting their career
    • Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from our clinical teams
    • Ability to connect and engage with young childrenWhat We Offer:
