Boulder County and beyond.
We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations),
Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.
Summary:
Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking medically trained
candidates to join our GI team as a Medical Assistant! This
position is benefit eligible working full-time 32 hours per week
Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm.

Day shift schedules.
Experience working with both primary care and specialty care
clinics.
Job Duties included, but are not limited to the following:
ASC Patient Instructions
Prepares and sends written instructions to patients for
department-specific procedures.
Scope Tech Role Duties/Responsibilities
Trained in Scope Tech. and fill in on as-needed basis.
Assisting providers in GI procedures; aiding in removing specimens
and biopsies.
Reprocessing and maintaining Flexible Endoscopes and accessories to
meet state and manufacturer guidelines.
Helping to maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment;
i.e infection prevention via wiping down etc, hand hygiene, proper
PPE usage, etc.
Assisting with restocking ASC supplies, putting away supply
orders.
Helping with cleaning and maintaining the Tech Room and Tech Room
equipment when needed
Experience and Skills:
Good history-taking skills, strong, competent computer skills;
accurate and complete documentation skills; good time management
and organizational skills.
Relate well and communicate with patients, providers, and
staff.
Able to demonstrate self-direction in establishing priorities and
working with little supervision.
Education Requirements (one of the following options):
Completion of Medical Assistant education. *Certification is not
required but preferred.
Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active
certification is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant
specific credentials. (Examples include but are not limited to:
EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
Military medical training and education with supporting
documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant
specific credentials.
College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor's degree
is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific
credentials. *College transcripts must reflect completed health
science course work. Please submit a copy of your unofficial
college transcripts at the time of applying.
The State of Colorado currently mandates that employees in our ASC
have a COVID-19 vaccination. Employees may request a medical and
religious exemption to this requirement.
Experience:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic
setting, preferred
The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate
with experience:
$18.91 - $25.21/hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $28.36)
This position will be posted for a minimum of three days,
subsequently until filled.
