Salary Range: $1780 - $1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active
Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC
state (required) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Minimum 1 year of
recent Emergency Room RN experience Current American Heart
Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Pediatric Advanced
Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)
certification NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification Trauma Nursing
Core Course (TNCC) certification ER Nurse Responsibilities Assess
and triage patients’ physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs in
the emergency department Develop and implement individualized
patient care plans with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IV
insertion, wound care, medication administration, catheterization,
and specimen collection Advocate for patient safety and rights in
all aspects of emergency care Educate patients and families,
assessing learning readiness and evaluating teaching effectiveness
Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care in accordance
with nursing best practices Delegate tasks to clinical support
staff per Colorado nursing regulations and hospital policy Mentor
new staff, serve as a professional role model, and participate in
ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives Maintain
accurate professional records and pursue continuous learning in
