Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 7 on/7 off night shift, requiring at least one year of experience and current ARRT certification. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital-based CT scan department - 7 on/7 off night schedule with 10-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM - Weekend and on-call coverage is required - Floating may be required to facilities within a 60-mile radius according to assignment needs - Uses Epic for charting; experience with Epic preferred - Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort - Follow stringent radiation safety standards and ALARA principles - Conduct IV starts and administer contrast as needed - Serve as a clinical resource and participate in training for students or staff technologists - Maintain equipment, complete required documentation, and ensure cleanliness of work areas - Must be adaptable to changing technologies and workflow demands - Annual flu vaccination required during flu season; only medical exemptions allowed Requirements - Minimum of one year of related CT experience required - High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred - Current ARRT(R) (CT), ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), CNMT registry, or state CT registry required - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required - License required if applicable - No local candidates accepted as travelers; must live more than 60 miles from the facility Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-625680.
