Nurse Practitioner - Trauma & Acute Care Surgery (Full-Time Nocturnist) Location: Loveland, Colorado Setting: Level II Trauma Center Shift: 12-hour overnights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Team Size: 3 providers Role Type: Permanent, full-time (not locums or locums-to-perm) Visa Sponsorship: Not available (No J-1 / H-1B) Quick-Screen Requirements Experience: Minimum 2 years trauma surgery experience , or Completion of a surgical fellowship Not accepting new graduates Autonomous practice capability: Required Licensure: Active or eligible Colorado NP license (implied-confirm as needed) EMR: Epic required Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery care during overnight shifts Manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across all inpatient settings Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic studies, and create treatment plans Assist trauma surgeons with procedures, resuscitations, and operative support Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic Ensure compliance with medical staff bylaws, privileging, and quality/safety standards Participate in ongoing education, mentorship, and potential leadership development Additional Role Details High-acuity environment requiring independent decision-making Not a temporary or transitional role; full-time permanent commitment required No visa sponsorship available Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary Up to $10,000 annually via the Quality Value Incentive Plan (QVIP) Relocation bonus up to $10,000 (for eligible candidates) Fully paid malpractice insurance CME: Up to $3,500/year 5 CME days Retirement: 403(b) with employer match Optional 457(b) deferred savings plan Insurance: Medical, dental, vision, life Employer-paid short-term disability (up to 66.67% of base pay) Employer-provided long-term disability (with buy-up options) Optional benefits: FSA, HSA (with HDHP), pet insurance, identity protection, employee discounts PTO: Effective at hire Paid family/medical leave (includes Colorado FAMLI) Education assistance: Select programs fully funded Up to $5,250/year for additional approved programs PSLF eligible with free guidance offered RecruitWell's Core Values: Open communication Sense of urgency Teamwork Accountability Driven to win Higher consciousness
