Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry Surgical Transplant – Colorado Start Date: October 27, 2025 Location: Denver, Colorado Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Travel assignment, Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), Backfill position Highlights: 34-bed Transplant/Stepdown unit with specialized surgical patient population Patient ratio of 1:3-4 with strong support staff including Charge RN and Patient Care Technicians Advanced equipment available including bladder scanners, AccuVein, virtual sitter cameras, and various mobility assist devices Meditech EMR system Exposure to complex wound and drain care including wound vacs, chest tubes, and JP drains Fast-paced environment ideal for nurses who thrive on variety and clinical challenge Requirements: Active Colorado RN license or compact state license Medical/Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience required Demonstrated experience managing patients with Heparin drips and PCA pumps Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred Solid organ transplant experience (kidney, liver, or pancreas) strongly preferred Reliable, adaptable, and capable of multi-tasking in high-acuity settings Why It's a Great Opportunity: This travel assignment offers the chance to work with a specialized transplant patient population in a well-supported stepdown environment.
