Job Description HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a local contract nursing job in Denver, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract - Number of Beds - 24 - Number of Staff – 45 - Type of staff: - Day Shift – 4 Day RN’s/ 1 Charge/ 2 mid-shift RN’s/ 1 mid shift Unit Clerk/ 1 EMT - Night Shift – 4 Night RN/ 1 night EMT/ 1 night charge - Patient Ratios – 4:1 (5:1 during surge) - Type of equipment – Philips monitors - EMR - Meditech - Typical Procedures: Port access/ IV start/ Venipuncture/ nasal wash/ point of care testing (trop/ lactic acid/ urine dip)/ EKG/ Foley placement Must Haves:/n- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred/n- A recent 12 months of ED RN experience in an acute hospital setting/n- Peds ED Experience/n- CO RN License/n- ACLS, BLS, CPI, ENPC, NIH, PALS, and TNCC Certifications/n/nPreferred or Nice to Have:/n- CEN/n- CPEN/ US IV competency/n- MediTech Experience/n- Travel Experience
