want your knowledge and expertise! Job Summary and Qualifications
Our Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Department provides a broad
range of services to aid in the screening, diagnosis and treatment
of medical conditions and emergent injuries. A few responsibilities
of our Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech)include: You
willoperatex-ray equipment to make radiographs of designated
portions of the body. Under the supervision of a Radiologist,your
roleperforms x-ray therapy on patients andexplains procedures to
patients and addresses their concerns. Your role will serve
patients in our emergency department, patients in our hospital, and
outpatient patients in need of services as well. You will perform
procedures in accordance with established protocols for patients
ages neonate through geriatric. Your role will be responsible for
maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and providing
quality diagnostic results. What qualifications you will need: -
Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program
with current certification by ARRT. - Mustmaintaincurrent registry
by attending continuing education activities tomaintainknowledge
and skill level. - BLS through the American Heart Association or
American Red Crossrequired. - Critical thinking skills,
decisivejudgmentand the ability to work with minimal supervision in
afast pacedenvironment. - Ability to perform work that requires
frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving,
lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs. -
Prefer2yearsrecent acute care experience. - Basic Cardiac Life
Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date -
(ARRT-R) Radiography - Vocational School Graduate No Travel
