Job Description MedAdventures is seeking a local contract nurse RN Home Health for a local contract nursing job in Denver, Colorado. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Home Health - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Local Contract About the Role: We are looking for a compassionate In-Home Services RN to provide skilled nursing care to participants in their homes. You’ll work directly with patients, their families, and the home care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities: - Provide skilled nursing care in participants’ homes according to physician orders and nursing best practices. - Assess, monitor, and document participants’ condition, response to treatments, and medication compliance. - Administer medications and provide education on self-administration of non-scheduled medications. - Assist with examinations, treatments, and evaluations, and coordinate care with physicians and specialists. - Schedule appointments, hospital admissions, and follow-up care for participants as needed. - Educate participants and families on medications, treatments, and health counseling. - Collaborate with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and medical social workers to ensure comprehensive care. - Supervise LPNs, HHAs, and CNAs according to regulatory requirements. - Complete clinical notes, care summaries, and maintain accurate medical records. - Participate in care conferences, peer review, quality management, and utilization review. - Provide preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures to meet participants’ needs.
