Job Description:

applications for the role of Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Located
in Aurora, CO, our facility is renowned for its comprehensive

patient-centered care. This position is integral in providing
specialized imaging and therapeutic services to diagnose and treat
various diseases, utilizing advanced radioactive drugs and
sophisticated technology. The role demands a deep understanding of
radiation safety, anatomy, and patient care, ensuring all practices
align with our high standards of service excellence. Prepare and
administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for imaging and
therapeutic procedures. Perform diagnostic studies on patients
using scanners or cameras that detect radiation from
radiopharmaceuticals in patients' bodies. Maintain strict adherence
to radiation safety guidelines to ensure safety of patients and
staff. Review and evaluate developed images or scans to ensure they
are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes, consulting with
physicians as necessary. Record and maintain accurate patient
records; prepare reports detailing scan results and treatment
procedures. Provide education and support to patients, explaining
procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort throughout
their visit. Proficiency in using gamma cameras and other nuclear
medicine equipment. Deep understanding of radiation safety and
protective measures. Strong analytical skills to interpret scans
and aid in diagnosing patients. Excellent communication and patient
care skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance

or certification eligible with the Nuclear Medicine Technology
Certification Board (NMTCB) Basic Life Support (BLS) certified
