As an Operating Room Nurse, you will work in fully equipped operating rooms, integrating cutting-edge surgical technology with compassionate, high-quality care. This role requires a meticulous professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and is dedicated to patient safety and positive outcomes. Assess patient conditions before, during, and after surgery, ensuring continuity of care. Prepare operating rooms for surgery; sterilize and supply equipment. Provide direct nursing care and administer medications. Monitor patient vital signs during operations and report on status to attending surgeon. Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure effective patient care delivery. Follow all hospital guidelines, safety norms, and procedures. Educate patients and families on post-operative care procedures. Strong patient assessment skills Proficient in managing and operating sterilization equipment High level of competency in administering medications and maintaining records Excellent collaboration and team working skills Ability to maintain composure and efficiency in a demanding environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certified by the American Heart Association or an equivalent Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
