UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system in Colorado, is excited to announce an opening for a Registered Nurse (RN) Fellowship in the ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Progressive Care Units. This unique fellowship program is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of our nursing staff, preparing them for advanced patient care in high-acuity settings. Nurses participate in extensive training, mentoring, and hands-on experiences. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU, Medical-Surgical, and PCU settings. Participate in educational sessions and apply learned clinical interventions and protocols. Monitor patient progress and work with healthcare teams to adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate patient status to relevant parties. Advocate for patient needs and contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment. Strong clinical skills in a high-acuity healthcare setting Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Capability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Capacity to manage stress and make critical decisions under pressure Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification preferred
