You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled healthcare professionals to deliver life-sustaining treatments, monitor vital signs, and manage complex medical equipment. This position requires adjustments to various locations within the UCHealth system, maximizing exposure to diverse clinical environments and enhancing your professional growth. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients. Monitor patient conditions and deliver appropriate treatments, collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare team members. Administer medications, maintain detailed patient records, and ensure compliance with hospital procedures and safety protocols. Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans, focusing on fostering emotional support and understanding. Function efficiently in high-stress environments, maintaining calm and making informed decisions in emergency situations. Travel to designated UCHealth locations as required, adapting quickly to new settings and maintaining consistent care standards. Advanced knowledge of critical care procedures and equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment High level of resilience, ability to handle stress and make decisions under pressure Competency in using healthcare software and patient management systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) preferred BLS/ACLS certified
