Job Description:
UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare organization based in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Sonographer and Student
Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be
essential in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging of the heart
through the use of ultrasound technology, while also managing and
coordinating educational programs for sonography students. This
position requires a unique blend of clinical expertise and
educational mentorship, aiming to uphold the highest standards of
patient care and academic excellence. Perform echocardiograms to
assess heart structure, function, and blood flow Ensure accuracy
and quality of diagnostic information Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to provide comprehensive patient care Organize and
coordinate educational programs for sonography students Evaluate
students' progress, providing feedback and guidance Maintain
patient records and adhere to health and safety regulations
Participate in research and continuous education activities
Proficiency in echocardiography Ability to educate and mentor
students Strong interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of
health and safety protocols Technical proficiency with ultrasound
