Job Description A leading physician-led health system is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Nocturnist to join its collaborative Women’s Care team in Longmont, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians who enjoy focused inpatient obstetric care and prefer a dedicated night schedule in a modern hospital setting. Position Highlights - Nocturnist Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM - Flexible: 6–12 shifts per month - In-house overnight coverage (no separate call) - ??? Join a team of 8 OB/GYN physicians 4 APPs - Epic EMR - Busy Birth Center (~1,000 deliveries/year) - ? No Locums Scope of Practice As an OB/GYN Nocturnist, you will: - Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care overnight - Manage labor, deliveries, postpartum care, and OB triage - Perform urgent OB/GYN evaluations and emergency interventions - Handle acute gynecologic consults during night shifts - Respond to maternal or fetal emergencies - Ensure smooth handoffs to daytime providers - Collaborate with multidisciplinary and specialty teams onsite - Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives - Support mentoring/training when applicable This role is ideal for physicians who thrive in high-acuity inpatient settings and prefer a predictable, shift-based schedule.
