Job Description New Hospitalist Opportunity in Indiana between Louisville & Cincinnati Full-time employment model opportunity Base Pay (1-year guarantee) $288,000 Productivity- Bonus Compensation for RVU's in excess of agreed threshold Available Sign-On Bonus $25,000 for 2-year commitment Work RVU Conversion Rate $ 56 Call Coverage Block Schedule of 7 days on/7 days off, 1 in 2 CME Hours (after first year of employment) 40 hours of CME time off per year CME & Dues Allowance (after first year of employment) $4,000 per contract year Relocation Assistance- Will live within 30 minutes response time when on call, per Medical Staff By-Laws, Up to $10,000 Health & Retirement Benefits package 401(k) Hospital pays all incidental expenses, including Licensure, DEA, CSR, Malpractice (is occurrence based and Hospital pays tail coverage) BC/BE Internal Medicine or scheduled to sit for boards. (Will consider FP if experience as Hospitalist) Provide inpatient care and consultations. Will accept admissions for all outpatient physicians/providers and patients who do not have a primary care provider. Participate in the 24/7 hospital call coverage for the Internal Medicine department & consults in the emergency department and for other specialties. Call: Physician will provide onsite call during the day, they can take call from home at night via phone. Physician needs to be within 30 minutes of the hospital in case they are called and need to return to the facility. Seven (7) nights are usually covered by Nurse Practitioner with physician backup from home, very few telephone calls & will rarely need to come in at night on scheduled week. Full-time APN provides assistance in the hospital during the day Monday- Friday. (APN works four 10 hour days) Four (4) IM/FP call team physicians rotate coming to the hospital every morning to assist Hospitalist with rounds and tasks. Daily Census 30-35 with APN providing assistance during the day and call team physician assisting in the AM. Must be ACLS certified. Procedures = Ventilator management, intubations, central lines. Responsible for responding to Rapid Assessment Team (RAT) calls on the floors. ER providers respond to Code calls. ICU rounding 6 bed Open ICU 24 hour pharmacy & radiology support. Lab and x-ray services on site. Major trauma is sent out.
