Job Description:
UCHealth, a renowned leader in the healthcare sector based in
Colorado, is seeking a Travel RN to join our GI Lab team. This
position involves providing specialized nursing care in
gastroenterology across various UCHealth locations. The role
demands flexibility in travel and schedule to meet the department's
needs. The selected candidate will work closely with
gastroenterologists to ensure high-quality patient care and support
during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Provide pre-operative
and post-operative care to patients undergoing GI procedures.
Administer medications and monitor patient response to treatment.
Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure
effective patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and
comply with healthcare regulations. Educate patients and their
families on procedure details and post-care requirements. Strong
clinical skills in gastroenterology nursing Excellent patient
assessment skills Ability to operate GI diagnostic equipment Strong
communication and interpersonal skills Capacity to handle a travel
schedule effectively Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license BLS/ACLS
Certification Certification in Gastroenterology Nursing (CGRN)
