Job Description:
UCHealth, a leader in healthcare innovation and patient care in
Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our
Surgical Acute Care unit during night shifts. This role is pivotal
in providing top-notch care in a challenging but rewarding
environment, supporting post-surgical patients through their
recovery process. The ideal candidate will have a passion for
healthcare and a commitment to improving patient outcomes. Monitor,
record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Maintain accurate patient medical records and document nursing care
provided. Administer patients' medications and provide treatments
according to physicians' orders. Instruct individuals, families, or
other groups on topics such as health education, disease
prevention, and develop health improvement programs. Assess the
needs of post-surgical patients, developing nursing care plans and
evaluating patient outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare team to
facilitate a holistic approach to patient care. Ensure the
efficiency of the healing process by strictly following safety
standards and protocols. Strong clinical skills with a focus on
surgical and acute care nursing Ability to operate medical
equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in clinical informatics and electronic medical record
(EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Current registered nurse licensure in the state
of Colorado BLS/CPR certification ACLS certification desirable
