Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of Charge Nurse in our Surgical Trauma department. The successful
candidate will be part of a dynamic team at a leading
not-for-profit health system in Utah, recognized for innovating

role requires a blend of clinical expertise, leadership skills, and
a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced, challenging
environment. The Charge Nurse will oversee the nursing activities,
ensuring high standards of patient care and compliance with
healthcare regulations. Coordinate daily patient care operations
within the surgical trauma unit. Supervise the nursing staff and
manage staffing schedules. Ensure compliance with health
regulations and maintain standards of care. Assist in the
development and implementation of patient care plans. Act as a
liaison between patients, their families, and healthcare providers.
Evaluate patient care and implement improvements as needed.
Facilitate training and professional development of nursing staff.
Leadership and team management Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills Strong decision-making and problem-solving
skills Proficient in clinical procedures and patient management
Ability to handle high-stress situations Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in
the state of Utah BLS/ACLS certification Trauma Nurse Core Course
(TNCC) certification preferred
