Nurse in the Emergency Department and contribute to our renowned
not-for-profit health system. Based in Utah, Intermountain

medical services across our hospitals and clinics. This specialized
role involves providing crucial care and forensic services to
patients who are experiencing acute crises. Being part of our
emergency care team, you will play a key role in both clinical care
and forensic examinations, providing compassionate support and
meticulous evidence collection that can prove vital in legal
matters. Provide comprehensive care to patients in emergency
situations, with a focus on those requiring forensic examination.
Perform detailed forensic examinations and collect evidence in a
manner that maintains its integrity and admissibility in legal
proceedings. Document findings meticulously in patient records and
legal forms. Collaborate with law enforcement, legal teams, and
healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care
and evidence management. Participate in on-call rotations for
immediate forensic examination needs. Conduct training and
presentations for healthcare staff on forensic protocols and
patient care considerations. Support patients emotionally and
provide resources for further assistance. Expertise in clinical
care and forensic examination techniques. Ability to work
collaboratively in high-pressure environments. Strong communication
and documentation skills. Proficiency with medical and forensic
equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah.
Certification as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)
preferred.
