Job Description School-Based Registered Nurse /n/n /n - $44-$48/hour /n /n/n Position Summary: /nWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate School-Based Registered Nurse at COFK! The RN will play an essential role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of students by providing direct medical care, health education, and preventive services. This position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with students, parents, and school staff. /n/n Benefits /n/n /n - Medical, Dental & Vision - Cigna /n - Life, LTD & STD /n - Supplemental Insurances /n - 401k (once eligible) /n - PTO /n - CEUs /n - Referral program /n - Professional development assistance /n - Discipline-specific mentor /n - Online community of clinicians /n /n/n Experience/Requirements: /n/n /n - /n Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid, emergency care, and chronic disease management. /n /n - /n Administer prescribed medications and treatments while monitoring student responses. /n /n - /n Maintain and ensure student immunization and health records comply with state regulations. /n /n - /n Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Action Plans (EAPs) for students with medical conditions. /n /n - /n Serve as a liaison between students, families, healthcare providers, and school staff to coordinate care and accommodations. /n /n - /n Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with HIPAA and FERPA guidelines. /n /n /n/n Education/License/Certification: /n/n /n - /n Current Registered Nurse (RN) in CO /n /n - /n Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate’s degree (ADN) with relevant experience considered. /n /n - /n School Nurse Certification or willingness to obtain. /n /n /n/n Accepting Applications Through 4/30/2026 /n/n Care Options for Kids is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
