Field Service TechnicianWater Remediation Tech LLC is currently seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Westminster, Colorado (80234).Job Summary:The WRT Field Services Technician provides upkeep and customer support of WRT systems, and on-site filter media exchange services to municipal and industrial water treatment clients.Duties and Responsibilities:Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned by management.Provide hands on support for water treatment filtration and Ion Exchange systems nationwide.Serves existing accounts by providing onsite maintenance and monitoring services. Travel may be required.Establishes service requirements by monitoring system performance; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptable testsMaintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements.Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventative maintenance; performing emergency repairs.Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.Works and maintains an open, collaborative, team-oriented work environment with peers, Leaders, Management, and customers.Will operate a vacuum system to remove and load most medias but may be required to slurry media or load media by hand.Working mainly with Municipal Water treatment media containing low levels of radiological material.Operate heavy equipment (forklifts and telehandlers) safely and effectively.May be required to work in loud, hot and cold environments, and confined spaces in Level D PPE.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications.Supports other Field Service Technicians and Water Technicians throughout North America.Maintains customer confidence by keeping service information confidential.Travel up to 50% out of state will be required.Education and Experience:HS diploma or equivalent,Experience in client relationships or customer service,Must have a valid drivers license,Experience with Microsoft Office and smart devices,Knowledge of water treatment distribution systems a plus, Radiological, HAZMAT and DOT training a plus but not required.Skills and Abilities:Oral and written communication skills.Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds,Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends, if necessary.Compensation and Benefits:Compensation is between $24-26/hr.
