Job Description Job Description Mid-Level Corporate Associate Attorney (Denver) Experience Level: Midlevel Associate Direct Counsel is seeking a Mid-Level Corporate Associate to join a national AmLaw firm in its Denver office. This role supports a busy and growing M&A and private equity practice and offers exposure to a broad range of sophisticated corporate transactions. Overview The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of corporate transactional experience , with a focus on public and/or private company M&A and related corporate matters. Experience with private equity transactions, transactional energy or infrastructure work, and capital markets–related M&A is highly desirable. This position is well-suited for an associate with strong drafting skills, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively. Key Responsibilities Support and execute public and private company M&A transactions Draft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related transaction documents Assist with private equity transactions and related corporate matters Advise clients on transactional energy, infrastructure, and capital markets–related M&A matters, as applicable Manage transaction workflows and timelines from diligence through closing Collaborate with partners and deal teams to deliver high-quality client service Maintain regular communication with internal teams and external clients Qualifications JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials 3–5 years of corporate transactional experience , including M&A Strong working knowledge of acquisition agreements and ancillary deal documentation Prior experience at a large regional, national, or international law firm preferred Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills High degree of professionalism, maturity, and business acumen Work Environment Collegial, team-oriented culture Access to a broad national and international platform Clear opportunities for professional development and advancement Compensation Competitive compensation commensurate with experience Colorado pay range: $260,000–$365,000 , depending on qualifications and experience Comprehensive benefits package
