Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental and waste management
services across North America, is currently seeking a dedicated
Yard Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. This position
requires the handling and transportation of hazardous and
non-hazardous waste materials within our facility premises,
ensuring effective execution of tasks while strictly adhering to
safety, environmental, and company regulations. Safely operate
vehicles in the yard areas to move and manage waste containers and
other equipment. Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle and
equipment to ensure operational safety. Coordinate with facility
management to efficiently handle and allocate resources for waste
processing and shipment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of
the yard and dock areas. Ensure compliance with all safety
procedures and environmental policies. Properly document all
movements and tasks performed, maintaining accurate tracking
records. Proven ability to operate forklifts and other heavy
machinery. Strong understanding of safety protocols when dealing
with hazardous materials. Good communication and organizational
skills. Ability to work well both independently and within a team.
