Volt is immediately hiring for an Integration & Test Engineer.
As an Integration & Test Engineer you will:
Support the Product Owner that oversees and provides daily
direction to the assigned Product Team
Helps to manage the team's backlog and capacity during each program
increment
Plan and support various customer-led mission test events
Regularly interact with the End-User by managing and nurturing the
business relationship, managing expectations vs. scope of contract,
proactively addressing emerging needs, and identifying results.
Collaborate with the Product Owner and align Product Team's
priorities with Test Cross Product Lead.
Works independently, determines & develops approach to solution
Willingness to travel in support of offsite testing and
meetings
Work in an Agile program environment
Work in a classified lab on site in Aurora, Colorado and at
customer sites
This is a 12 Month full time Contract or Contract to hire
opportunity.
Clearance: Active TS/ SCI
The ideal candidate will have:
Requires a bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering,
or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant systems
integration and test experience, or 5 years of relevant experience
with a master's degree in STEM.
Proven technical team leadership experience.
Solid understanding and application of systems engineering
principles and practices.
Proactive, can-do attitude with a team-oriented mindset to foster a
positive and collaborative culture.
5+ years of demonstrated experience and knowledge in system and
software development, including:
System/software development and implementation.
Management and integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and
Free and Open-Source Software (FOSS).
Development of Kubernetes/container-based systems.
Implementation and deployment of software dependency repositories,
configuration files, and logs within development pipelines,
integration, and test environments.
Creation of design and as built/implementation specifications.
Use of discrepancy reporting systems and development of closure
plans.
Ability to identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks.
Experience developing software builds in compliance with code
quality and security standards.
Proven ability in developing unit, component, integration, and
acceptance tests.
Hands-on experience integrating and troubleshooting software and
containerized applications.
Experience configuring tools that capture performance-based metrics
to support requirement verification and sell-off.
Experience collaborating across cross-functional product teams.
Prefer
Software and system development and integration experience on
prototype or pursuit programs.
Experience working in Agile or DevOps development environments.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and container-based
DevSecOps tools, including:
GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, Gradle, Nexus
JUnit, Pytest, SonarQube, Coverity
Docker, Helm Charts, Harbor, ArgoCD
Trivy, Anchore, Rancher, Cucumber
Experience serving as a Product Owner or Scrum Master in Agile
development teams.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) practices
and Agile Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, such as:
Cameo Enterprise Architecture (CameoEA)
Jira, Confluence, ZephyrScale
