about.We're seeking a future team member for the role of Technical
Product Manager to join our Digital Assets team. This role is
located in New York, NY.In this role, you'll make an impact in the
following ways:
- Formulate and define scope and objectives for the product
deliverables with thorough understanding of business processes in a
specific business domain.
- Serve as Blockchain, DLT solutions expert to build digital
asset servicing capabilities in partnership with business teams and
technology. This includes designing and delivering pilots.
- Design and build future state architecture to support new and
existing Blockchain, DLT use cases.
- Evaluate different Blockchain protocols / platforms to explore
solution alternatives. Serve as a trusted technical and
architectural advisor to deliver blockchain based solutions.
- Provide guidance on blockchain, DLT capabilities - available
internally or in the marketplace - to determine best path forward
factoring in feasibility, maturity of solutions, cost, time to
market etc.
- Work with stakeholders and SMEs to analyse, define, and
prioritize the business requirements, functional
specifications.
- Evaluate digital asset opportunities across BNY Mellon
businesses. Develop platform strategy and roadmap to bring
compelling digital asset capabilities to clients.To be successful
in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline,
or equivalent work experience
- Deep technical understanding of leading blockchain protocols,
strengths and gaps
- Solid understanding of Cryptography, Encryption, and
Automation
- Strong experience designing and developing Distributed Systems,
and Microservices
- 10 plus years of total work experience with 5 years in product
development preferred.
- At least 3 years experience in designing and developing
Blockchain, DLT solutions.
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising
product managers, project managers, and engineering.
- Experience working with fin-techs / start-ups in the blockchain
/ DLT space a plus
- Entrepreneurial and results oriented.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to accomplish goals
through others, including employees, peers, and other
function/business areas of the company.
- Experience in the securities, financial services, or asset
