UCHealth, a leader in patient-focused healthcare in Colorado, is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Medical Unit. This role is pivotal in providing top-notch health care in line with our commitment to excellence and personalized patient experience at our state-of-the-art facilities. The ideal candidate will be delivering hands-on nursing care under challenging circumstances, working closely with doctors and other medical professionals to administer treatment and care for patients with various acute medical conditions. Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop nursing care plans Implement nursing care plans and maintain accurate medical records Monitor, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions Administer medications and assist in diagnostic tests and analysis Operate medical equipment and assist with patient rehabilitation Coordinate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care management Educate patients and their families on illness management, prevention, and lifestyle choices Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment Strong clinical skills with the ability to react decisively in emergency situations Proficiency with medical software and equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Empathy and resilience under pressure Strong organizational and time management skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
